Queen Aggravain

For the past three weeks, Katie has been in the play "Once Upon a Mattress" at the San Luis Obispo Little Theatre. It is an adaptation of "The Princess and The Pea" and she played the Queen (of course!) who wanted nothing to do with her son getting married.

SHE WAS AMAZING!

(Side note, I had tears of pride welling in my eyes the whole time...and it was a comedy!)

She had one of the lead roles and even had her own solo song. She is an amazing actress and a great singer!

We could not have been more proud!

Christmas 2008

This Christmas we were blessed to spend the holiday with all of our families. We spent Christmas Eve and Morning with my parents and sister in Sonora and came home Christmas Day to see my dad and grandma and all of Rob's family. We had such a great time and are ready to do it all over again!

Cookie Time Part Deux

Here are some of the pictures we took during cookie baking with our new camera that we love! I love being with Rob more than anything...we always have so much fun!

We made the sugar cookies too big (Fresno style) and they baked into one large sugar cookie rectangle...so we cut them out again!

Cookie Time!

Last night Rob and I were up until 12:30 getting our house ready for Christmas. The closer it gets the more I excited I get!

Part of the "getting ready" process included baking yummy cookies to fill my CUTE new penguin cookie jar the my mama-in-law got me. We had a lot of fun and I will put up the pictures of the beer bottle covered in flour later. It was Rob's little helper!

HealthComp

HealthComp had their annual awards dinner last Saturday night. Rob and I both work there and really love our jobs! Rob is the Chief Legal Counsel and I am a Plan Manager and Implementation Coordinator. There are six different awards that are presented each year and this year I was given the Brilliance Award. It is such a great place to work!

After leaving Fillmore, we headed up to see my parents in Sonora. We had a great time roasting marshmallows, watching the Christmas parade and wine tasting.

We had such a great time today with Rob's family (minus Ashlee, Garrett and Parker...so sad!). We went down to Fillmore to celebrate at Ryan and Tara's and their beautiful new kitchen.
